How might we begin to describe how an acorn becomes an oak tree while keeping in mind that the development is only possible in relationship with millions of organisms? Let’s start with ecology and the way nothing in nature is directed toward a single context or purpose. Development and growth in agriculture, education, health, tech, building etc are ’efficient’ because they are numb to the many relationships they are entangled with.
